AppleFest! is the Lethbridge Sustainable Living Association’s annual main event….the thing that tells the world we’re here! And you guessed it, it’s about living sustainably which means local food, local fossil-free energy and sustainable housing. These feature prominently under the theme of apples.
BikeBridge will be providing bike parking racks for the event and, again, could use your help. Please email BikeBridge. Thanks.
For more information, see the LSLA website.
July 26th at 5:00 pm & July 27th at 7:00 pm
A brand new festival in downtown Lethbridge, the Wide Skies Music & Arts Festival aims to bring a diverse range of world class musicians to a unique urban environment. The festival vision is one of accessibility for everyone and encourages visitors to embrace the idea of a “small footprint” in exchange for a big “wow” factor!
Presented by The Geomatic Attic and supported by funding through the City of Lethbridge “Heart of Our City” grant, Wide Skies Music & Arts Festival will take place over a two day period July 26 & 27, 2017. The outdoor event on July 26 will also feature a hand-made art market, food trucks and beer gardens. Wide Skies Music & Arts Festival is also putting an emphasis on environmental sustainability by encouraging use of public transit and cycling to the event, along with on-site recycling and composting programs to manage waste. Door prize tickets will be provided to everyone that takes transit, bicycle or walks to the festival!
BikeBridge volunteers will be supplying and supervising the bike racks during the FREE Wednesday events. To help out, please email BikeBridge.

…is coming up this weekend, June 23 – 25.
There are still quite a few spots available to help out with the bike valet service and we really need the help as it is very popular with folks biking into Henderson Lake to avoid all the parking congestion. Please sign up using the Google Sheet (click on the second tab along the bottom).
Karen from BikeMaps.org and Henry from the County of Lethbridge will be with us to answer your questions about apps and the new regional trail.
If you have any questions, please ask by emailing ContactBikebridge@gmail.com
